Studied at Lowestoft School of Art and St Martins College of Art, London
Taught at St. Albans, Luton and Watford. Senior Lecturer at Alsager College of Education,Cheshire.
Opened Art Gallery in Chester. Retrained in Art Restoration. Restored for museums, art galleries and private customers for 20 years.
Developed programme of private courses in Restoration that ran for 15 years drawing students from all over the world.
Guild Commended Framer
6 dvds, 9 videos and 4 books published on Restoration and Framing.
Numerous articles published in both Art and Antique magazines on various aspects of painting, printmaking and restoration.
Throughout working career continued painting in Oils and Watercolours then concentrated completely on painting from 1999 onwards.
Developed interest in printmaking at Gainsboroughs House Print workshop (Wood and Lino cut) Sudbourne Printmakers (etching) and Curwen Press (lithography)
2001 1st solo exhibition in Southwold.
Exhibited in solo and joint exhibitions every year from 2002 at Aldeburgh Gallery, Aldeburgh Cinema Gallery, Peter Piers Gallery Aldeburgh and Southwold.
Work on show at Snape Maltings Gallery, Buckenham Gallery, Southwold and Gainsboroughs House, Sudbury.
Subjects for Paintings include East Coast Landscapes and Seascapes, natural forms direct from life in Watercolour, Acrylic and Gouache.
Subjects for Prints include animal and birds, plant forms and genre.
