Eva Pollard

Eva Pollard is a glass artist inspired by nature, line and colour who makes kiln-formed glass art, homeware and jewellery under the brand Eva Glass Design.

Eva's designs are bright and colourful. She is fascinated by the relationships between line, colour and the spaces between them. Principles of balance and proportion are used in design processes which give the finished pieces a harmonious feel. Many pieces are fired to a contoured finish to add texture and depth to the rich colours of the glass.

Eva creates jewellery from sparkling dichroic glass which has the unique property of reflecting one colour while transmitting another. The different colours can be observed by viewing the piece from different angles. Eva finishes all her jewellery pieces with high quality silver and silver plated fittings, and presents them in individual boxes.

Eva is a member of the Contemporary Glass Society and the Wye Valley Crafts Association.
